Well, make that their extended family--including the people who might as well be family. Thankfully, my husband is surrounded by a support system of really great guys. They're innovative, laidback, caring and fun, to list a few adjectives. (Definitely fun. Just ask Jackie, our wedding photographer.) And when Steffan and I first started dating, they invited me on group outings as naturally as if I had been part of the posse for years. I've always believed that a person's relationships are a reflection of character, and if this group's happy and lighthearted dynamic is any indication, I've picked a good guy to spend my life with. P.S. I have to give them credit (and defy any stereotypes of groups of men always being late): The day of our wedding rehearsal, all of the groomsmen arrived either on time or early--beating everyone else to Mustard Seed Gardens, including the bride and groom.
